“ALL Therapy is NOT Created Equal."

Access to mental health has significantly increased, and technology has greatly assisted in providing counseling services to more and more people. In order to grow emotionally, mentally, and behaviorally requires a skilled and experienced therapist. That’s me, and I would like to invite you to put me to the test as you consider therapy impacting your life in a meaningful way.

What I Do

Listen – I went to graduate school for 3 years to learn how to listen. True story. It’s a skill that not many have and fewer practice in a competent way.

Affirm – is a demonstration of understanding, and I will show you how I understand what you shared with me.

Explore – this journey is not for the faint of heart. It takes courage to look at yourself, and I will be your non-judgmental support as you continue to learn about yourself.

My desire in working with you

… comes from my 20-year experience, and the fact that I am confident in my ability to facilitate therapy sessions that actually make a difference. My confidence is grounded in humility, as I have learned (and continue to learn) how to be the therapist you’ve been looking for.

My Story

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, I made the risky decision of leaving my home country to pursue a college degree in the USA. What followed is an experience that continues to shape and mold me as the therapist I am today.”  20 years of experience has taught me a lot about not only how to be a counselor but also the person I authentically am. I’ve been to a lot of therapy myself and so I know how hard counseling can be as a client wanting to make change occur in their life, and become as honest as possible.
